Partnership Staff
The Department provides the Childcare Partnership with Early Years Development
Funding by which to implement the Childcare Plan. The Partnership has
invested some of this funding in employing staff to discharge some of
it's key functions.

Vacant liaises with each of the Partnership members to ensure co-ordination of activity in relation to the Childcare Plan.

Research & Information Officer – Elaine Wilmot
Elaine provides information to assist the Partnership in effectively identifying areas of deprivation, and shortfall of services, that need to be targeted by any additional Childcare Funding. She is also responsible for updating the News page for the Web Site.

Training Co-ordinator – Ashleigh Brown
Ashleigh is the Partnership's Training Co-ordinator. Her duties include identifying the training and assessment needs of Early Years daycare providers, drawing up and implementing a training plan in consultation with key stakeholders in the Partnership's area, based on identified needs.
Another part of her role is to provide and maintain an up to date information service for childcare workers regarding training and assessment issues, career progression, funding opportunities and service provision.
